TeleBT is a ground station for use with Altus Metrum flight computers that provides both USB and Bluetooth connectivity. Use TeleBT with AltOS on notebook computers, and with AltosDroid on Android phones and tablets. There is also a compatible iOS application available for sale from our friends at Iron Sheep Productions.

Excellent, with reservations
The TeleBT is a solid addition to the TeleMega or TeleMetrum altimeters in terms of functions, but there are three issues to bear in mind. First, the MicroUSB connector on the TeleBT (and the TeleMega, at least) is surface mount only, not "through the board". I had the connectors break off both boards immediately after purchase and returned them to Altus Metrum for repair, only one of which was successful. Since the USB port is used for battery charging, plan on strengthening the connectors. While the TeleMega battery can be easily charged externally, the TeleBT battery is not as easy to access. Second, the Bluetooth functionality for the TeleBT is limited to a third party company, although Altus Metrum has been aware of the issue for years. Third, the TeleBT obviously must be attached to an antenna to be useful - plan on an additional $50 or so for a good yagi. Otherwise, the units seem to be extremely nice in terms of functionality. If the MicroUSB connectors were more robust, I'd give five stars with no hesitation.Jim Bertin (11 May 2018, 16:07)
